the other day at 3a.m i heard some explosions outside:

Around 2 years ago, Aly and I started a monthly “dj/gig” night called “Lurkville” that hosted monthly nights both in San Diego and Los Angeles.  Christian and Joe over at The Redwood Bar were so gracious to let us host the first few LA Lurkvilles, while Aly and his record label partner, Julian Vazquez held down the San Diego nights at The Tower Bar.  Long story short, the LA nights fell off as I just got too busy (read: lazy), but Aly kept it chugging along and it is still going strong!  If you’re in/around the San Diego area Saturday evening, I highly suggest you make your way down to Tower Bar.  You will NOT be disappointed.  I mean c’mon Thee Cormans?? FUCK YAH
