Love Awareness Program

Monday, January 4th, 2010

We received word from our good buddy Erik (FUCT) that the film short he was working on finally went live.  Filmed on location in Los Angeles, at our favorite couples’ place (Maurice and Melissa), Erik told us that there was a small surprise mid way in throughout the short.  As the camera pans from the TV, you can see two So-So’s decals that Maurice had on his heater.  A great piece of film work that not only doubles as Erik’s directorial debut, but the beginning to a re-vamp of the FUCT site.  Below are some stills captured from the short…

Check it out for yourself here:  FUCT

Great job Erik!  Looks killer!  Thanks for the heads up

Gratuitously Self-Righteous

Or something like that…  I’m never one for self-gloating or promotion, but the way this recent project turned out and the people involved, I felt inclined to share.  Goose and I had the chance to collaborate with our good buddies Danny and Shawn of The Lovewright Co. recently on an artist series redux for one of their seasons.  I’ve known Danny for awhile now, since our two brands have grown along together simultaneously, collaborating with each other quite often.  It is good to surround yourself with good peoples to work with and I am nothing but proud to always work with him and call him a friend.  Our other good buddy and all around ruler, Paul Sun of The Social Trust, so graciously and expertly shot the photos for the look book.  Check em out…

Here are some pics of Flatback mustang that SSDESIGN finished just in time for SEMA for JET Performances booth. The car is custom painted matte satin grey with gloss black stripes. 22″ one off custom wheels, narrowed rear end, baer 14″ 6 piston brakes and a whipple super charger that puts the car at about 600 hp with the other engine mods. Other fun things are a ROUSH kit with Larry Bragga Louvered hood and full custom interior with custom machined parts through out the whole car. Im not really a Late model Mustang guy,I always felt they were jock football player cars but I tried to break that stigma with this project.

Len makes you feel lazy…

Monday, July 6th, 2009

To say Len (O2 Motorworks) has been busy as of recent would be the understatement of the century.  The guy just busts ass.  Plain and simple.  There’s nothing like talking with Len or hanging out with him to make you feel like a lazy piece of tard.  And you thought you had a lot of shit on your plate.  Well between his two day gigs (O2 and Designcraft), he had time to finish up his Honda CB 305 in time for Danny’s (Lovewright Co) Recession Sessions gig down in Univ a couple weeks back.  Good man. You may remember the progress post that Yukio posted awhile back (HERE).  Now he’s enjoying the fruits of his labor and tearing shit around HB…  While most of us were getting our brain cell loss on at each others’ respective gigs for the 4th, Len made it down to the annual Sinner’s 4th of July gig down in Westminster.  He was able to catch up with high school buddy and fellow Hawaiian native, Nelson (Sinners/COC/AmProTechUSA) and get a little spotlight on his work.  Check it out….
